Naming Things Tragedy

Fleeting

tragédie de la définition d’une méthode

  1. you have a great idea,
  2. you give it a name N,
  3. the idea, and it name become popular,
  4. more and more people claim that N is about “what comes to mind when you think, N”. Most of them did not even read N.
  5. eventually, there are semantic debates about what N means,

For example, a lot of people think that gtd is about having things done. A lot of people reduce scrum to daily meetings, sprint retrospective and short size iterations. They don’t even know the values of scrum.
