Masquarade of Pseudo Agility

Fleeting

Today, we all claim we do agility.

The first principle of agility states that:

Our highest priority is to satisfy the customer through early and continuous delivery of valuable software

Somehow, we are always ok with thinking we “deliver early” and provide “valuable software”. (see MVP)

But then, marketing guys start selling what we don’t yet have to provide and then this principle becomes “Our highest priority is to satisfy the customer”. The last part magically gets out of the equation.

At this moment, rationalization becomes the official language. People start saying that we only need a MVP, while meaning a “bullshit product that will stale the client”.
