Here, it is said that every change in a scrum team should be driven by the team itself (scrum team is self-managing). Yet, sometimes, the scrum master becomes a scrum mum and does not let the team learn by doing (fail fast and often).
In the case of #NoEstimate, the team should not change because the scrum master says so, but realize over time that estimations don’t bring much to the table. Likely less than the data does. Then, the team naturally and progressively moves towards a #NoEstimate method, because it realizes it is the sensible way of predicting the effort of the work to be done.
