Natural Software Development Using #NoEstimates and Variable Length Sprints

Doing story points supposedly broke the promise of scrum, with the sprint goal and the team being focused only on that commitment.

The team ends up simply trying to fill a bag of time with story points.

It is also suggested that using variable length sprint might help making this sprint goal more concrete. You make a promise and then you decide of the time needed to fulfil that commitment.

Although, in my mind, this is a compromise made with the cadence the scrum asks.
