A hardware wallet made by ledger (company). It can be used as a Hardware Security Module, a hardware wallet or a personal security device.

The naming of this device adds to the ambiguity of the name wallet. Indeed it is called ledger, like if it contained a record of some transactions, while it only stores keys to getting access to the remote ledger.
