gtd is controlled procrastination

If you want to do something, you are tempted to wait before doing it. During that time, the something becomes an open loop and increase your cognitive load. You also feel guilt not doing it. Actually, you might procrastinate because you are not appropriately engaged.

The gtd proposes a framework to actually put those something aside, like in the procrastination, but it also comes with a method to make sure you will regularly review this something and that you will also assess how important it is, considering the area of focus.

I think that procrastination is in fact a good thing, provided it is controlled and wanted.
