Confuse Doing One's Best and Reach One's Goals/Making an Error
fleetingconfuse doing one’s best and reach one’s goals
I think that when one’s goals are not achieved, they feel some cognitive dissonance linked to the if I do my best, I should reach my goals fallacy:
- I don’t reach my goal => I don’t do my best
- I am a person that does per best
- dissonance
I think that you should not blame yourself for not doing more than the best you can do.
This leads to people minimizing and refusing to acknowledge the goal not reached.
